2025 Christmas Gift Guide Based on Interest

Christmas is almost here. Woohoo! It seems like time has flown by. The good thing is Christmas is one of the best times of the year.

We get to celebrate, spend quality time with family and friends, and gift amazing presents.

Oftentimes, I get stumped on what Christmas gift to give people. To make it easier, this is a cheat sheet to make your holiday shopping easier. These gift ideas will be geared towards women and categorized based on their interests.

Since I am a homebody. Let’s start with our homebody gift guide.

Gift Ideas for the Homebody

1. Ambient Lighting

Ambient lighting is a great way to set the mood for a night in and cozy up. This lighting option allows you to choose different colors based on your mood. And there will be less need to use harsh overhead lighting.

2. Bathtub Caddy Tray

Relaxing in the tub is top tier and its even better when you can get super cozy with your favorite things. These bathtub caddies allow you to bring your iPad/book, wine, a candle, and any other knick-knack that makes your bath more enjoyable. This is the perfect gift idea for people who enjoy slowing down with a nice bath.

3. Pajamas

No one can have too many pajamas. You can gift your friend/family a pair of pajamas in their favorite color. You could even get matching pajamas and plan a nice night in then this would double as two gifts in one.

4. Lap Tray

If you know someone who is always working on their laptop on the couch or in bed, a lap tray would be a great gift. This will make their setup comfortable because they can hold their cell phone and a drink. It also prevents the heat from the laptop bothering them.

Gift Ideas for the Hostess

These are gifts for the person in your life who enjoys hosting events that create lasting memories. When shopping from this list, think about items they have mentioned they wanted or an item you think will make their lives easier.  Here are my suggestions for gifts:

1. Wine Glasses, Cocktail Picks, Wine Cooler

You have options. All of these options are centered around drinks. You can go with wine glasses. Each set of glasses gives a certain vibe, so try to get them a wine glass style that they don’t already own. It’s nice to have a red/white wine glass, coupes, and martini glasses. An alternative to a glasses, are cocktail picks or a wine cooler. Cocktail picks are used for olives or candy to garnish a martini. Also, a nice wine cooler can enhance the decorations of the event.

2. Cookbook

If your friend enjoys making homemade meals for every occasion. Purchase them a new cute cookbook that goes with the type of food they like to cook. This gives them new meals that they can try out with their guests.

3. CVS gift card

Have you ever wondered how your friend has those amazing menu cards or posters customized to match the theme of the event? If they don’t have a printer, then they are printing them at a print shop. As a gift, you can gift them a CVS card that they can use to cover the cost of the next few prints they purchase. $40 would go a long way.

4. Charcuterie Board

A customized charcuterie board will elevate their next event. These boards can be used to serve different snacks and will get tons of use because you need multiple boards at every event.

5. Recipe Book

This recipe book will allow them to save all their go-to recipes in one place. Make sure to choose a recipe book that matches their style.

6. Portable Printer and Guest Book

A portable printer is a great way to save memories of every event. They can also have guests take pictures throughout the night and print out the photos they want to take home to remember the festivities.

Gift Ideas for New Hobbies

1. Puzzle

A puzzle is a great brain exercise to get away from our phones and doubles as decor. I would recommend starting with a 300 or 500 word puzzle so it not overwhelming.

2. Candle Making

If your friend loves candles, a candle-making kit is the way to go. They get to learn the full process of candle making and this could be a skill that they learn to make scents they like on a regular basis.

3. Body Butter Making

We also use lotion so body butter making kit just makes sense. Everyone could benefit from this sort of gift. It allows you to use your hands.

4. Needlepoint

5. Junk Journaling/Scrapbooking

If you have a friend who likes a nice aesthetic or taking pictures for memories, journaling could be a great hobby for them to explore. You can buy them a nice journal and portable printer so they can have a physical notebook with all their favorite memories.

Gift Ideas that work for everyone

Jewelry (Ana Luisa and Mint and Lily)

Jewelry is a classic gift. Everyone uses jewelry to accessorize. When choosing what to buy, consider if they prefer gold or silver jewelry and if they prefer dainty or statement pieces. Once you have those answers, the rest is easy-peasy.
