When I finalized that I was studying abroad in Costa Rica, I felt all these warm fuzzies. I was excited to finally travel outside of the country for the first time. I hopped directly on Pinterest and did what I do best. I researched everything. A week later, no lie, I had boards full of places to visit and activities to participate in while abroad.
Update: I did not end up studying abroad in Spain but I have experienced studying abroad in Costa Rica.

This is a HUGE deal as this will be my second study abroad trip in my college career. As I prepare to embark on this new journey, I want to take you guys with me. First stop: FUNDING. Many students don't study abroad because of the difficulties they face with being able to afford the programs. I was just like that. From my first study abroad experience, I have learned about some really cool study abroad scholarships that most college students are eligible for.
Preparing to study abroad in Costa Rica was a task. My emotions were all over the place especially since I was all over the place. I learned a lot, even before leaving the country, including what not to do and what things to do the week before studying abroad. If I could do it over again, these are some of the things I would do to help with the transition.
