My wish list of things to buy this winter is ever-growing. However, I am practicing self control and I am prioritizing items that will help me to level up items I already own over buying individual items that I randomly just like. I am being strategic about buying only clothes I need because since we are going out less I am wearing these clothes a lot less.
1. Black Over the Knee Boots
I have two amazing A-line skirts that I want to continue to wear this winter and it will definitely be easier to wear if I have boots that keep me more covered. Having this item added to my collection seems very long lasting because it can be worn every winter. Boots are always in so this is an item that I want to invest in at this time. I am leaning more to the Marc Fisher over the knee boots because my manager recommended them to me.
2. Black Boots
My shoe game is a struggle. These black boots will add a little “umph” to my outfits, so that I can retire my black flats. I wear my flats absolutely too much. I don’t know what black boots I will purchase but there are a few I am considering.
With my black boots, I want a lower heel because I definitely plan to wear them to my part-time job where I walk a lot.
3. Coat
There is this grey coat that I want to buy from J.Crew Factory that they have every year. I am waiting for this coat to go on clearance so that I can buy it and add my employee discount. I am just all about getting the best price. This is just a nice coat that I can wear with dressed up or dressed down outfit.
4. Red Sweater
I have been looking at Pink Lily for a while. I was initially introduced to them by @goodtomicha. They have this really nice red sweater that I like. This, however, one of the items that is less of a priority for me but I would like to buy another sweater to my closet. I am not going to buy this item until I buy my two pairs of boots.
5. Gold Necklace
I am more of an earring type of girl but, I can wear the same necklace over and over again. I want to invest in a gold necklace because I am tired of my gold necklaces turning green and having to buy others. I’d rather buy a gold necklace that I love and that will last for a long time. So, I am currently looking for a gold filled necklace or solid gold necklace.
6. Christmas Themed clothes on sale
I want like 2-3 pieces of Christmas clothing and accessory pieces that go on sale after or close to Christmas. There were a decent amount of Christmas pieces that I wanted but they were being sold at a price that I was not ready to pay for such seasonal items. I really wanted these Christmas Santa earrings from BaubleBar that were originally $48 but they went out of stock. I am okay with that cause that price was not hitting.
However, I have been saving some Christmas items that I like and hopefully they are still in stock after Christmas so I can buy them for a fraction of the price to rock next year. I want more sweatshirts and earrings. Hopefully, Covid-19 will be gone so I can show off my cool earrings. I might only buy one pair of Christmas earrings and get two Christmas sweatshirts that can be loungy or worn out. It looks like a lot of things have sold out so next year I may just need to budget in like a $100 in November to buy a few Christmas themed items.
